why is one kid not wearing a robe
the kids who are wearing robes were taking their OWLs/NEWTs. Notice Luna’s not wearing a robe either. Because they’re underclassmen and had free periods while the upperclassmen were taking their exams.
This post is amazing because a) Slytherin and intrahouse love, but also because b) someone just explained how free-dress works during exams at Hogwarts.

By now you’ve all heard about Cassidy Lynn Campbell, the transgender 16-year-old who was elected homecoming queen at her California high school last week. Shortly after her win, Cassidy released this video on her YouTube channel, where she’s been documenting her transition, to explain how she had experienced too much hateful backlash to enjoy her victory at all.
It’s truly heartbreaking to see what vicious, ignorant people will do to bring down a young girl who’s doing everything she can to beat the odds. This video is painful to watch, but it’s important to see what a devastating effect hateful language can have — so we do everything in our power to stop it. Join the National Center for Transgender Equality in sending Cassidy a message of support here.
This is so heartbreaking. I’m furious.
I reblogged this last night but the one I reblogged didn’t have that link. Click the link and do whatever you can to show your support for her!
